I have been using them for mum since she became immobile, but I do it all for her. I still put a couple of towels around her shoulders in case of drips and once you start massaging the cap, it really does lather up. The instructions say to just towel dry afterwards, but I use a damp flannel to rinse the residue off a few times. I think they are quite good - mum's hair looks good afterwards.
