Description
Start off your new year in Nebraska’s great outdoors with a First Day Hike at Schramm Park SRA!
Prepare for the hike: dress in layers, wear a hat, bring a water bottle and check the forecast. Start a new tradition by inviting friends along.
Meet in the Schramm Education Center classroom and create some winter art on mini-canvases, then join us on a hike to locate winter art that will be hidden throughout the trails. We will offer two hiking choices: a short hike along our Catalpa Trail, which is flatter terrain, and a longer hike at Schramm Park SRA.
Note that programs may be altered due to weather and trail conditions. Check the Schramm Education Center Facebook page for cancellations/modified schedules if severe weather advisories are in the area.
