On the morning of September 6th, at 6:40 AM, tragedy struck on the westbound lanes of I-66 in Fauquier County. A chain-reaction collision unfolded as three vehicles came to a halt due to heavy traffic. Regrettably, a fourth vehicle failed to stop in time, causing a devastating rear-end collision. Kraig Kelican, aged 62, was one of the three individuals injured in this harrowing incident.
While his fellow victims were transported to a local hospital via ambulance, Kelican required immediate medical attention and was airlifted to a nearby hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
