Song Joong Ki’s Reborn Rich will air on November 18 at 10.30pm KST/ 8.30am ET on JTBC. Later, episode 1 of Reborn Rich will be available to global viewers from a number of streaming platforms including Disney Plus, Rakuten Viki, and Viu. Read more about that in the story later.

JTBC’s Reborn Rich has teased a star-studded cast that includes Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min, Shin Hyun Been, Yoon Je Moon, Kim Jung Nan, Jo Han Chul, Seo Jae Hee, Kim Young Jae, Jung Hye Young, Kim Hyun, Kim Shin Rok, Kim Do Hyun, Kim Nam Hee, Park Ji Hyun, Jo Ye Joo, Park Hyuk Kwon, Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany and more stars.

Song Joong Ki as Yoon Hyun Woo
Song Joong Ki plays a very interesting role in Reborn Rich. He will portray first, the loyal secretary Yoon Hyun Woo who served a rich South Korean family (Sunyang group) for years only to be falsely accused in an embezzlement case and dies an unfortunate death.
But in the fantasy drama, Yoon Hyun Woo gets a second chance at life and is reborn as the Sunyang family’s youngest son Jin Do Joon who will plot to take his revenge in his second life.
Speaking of the new K-Drama, Song Joong Ki gushed, “While there are a lot of projects that deal with the stories of chaebols (Korean word meaning family-owned business conglomerates), the fact that one story unfolds based on past events in ‘Reborn Rich’ is fun.”
He adds. “The subtle tension that arises during a mental fight between the president of a giant corporation and his youngest grandson is the key point. All the mental fights will unfold interestingly as Jin Yang Chul and Jin Do Joon deceive each other and pretend to trust each other.”
“Please also focus on why and by whom Yoon Hyun Woo dies,” Joong Ki teased.
Lee Sung Min as Jin Yang Chul
Shadow Detective star Lee Sung Min is playing another main character in the drama who is the head of the rich family, Jin Yang Chul.
As the plot progresses, Jin Yang Chul’s insatiable greed for money and power will prove to be one of the biggest obstacles for Jin Do Joon (Joong Ki) who is determined to defeat him at any cost.
Speaking of the new JTBC Drama, Lee Sung Min noted that Reborn Rich is “a masterpiece that goes back generations.”
He also talked about the various time period that the drama will unveil giving it a very timeless feel. “I think there will be fun in seeing the detailed descriptions of the time periods we’ve experienced. I hope you will experience the banquet of cool characters by amazing actors.”
Shin Hyun Bin as Seo Min Young
Reflection of You star Shin Hyun Bin is going to be Seo Min Young in Reborn Rich, a prosecutor in the anti-corruption investigation department of Seoul District Prosecutors Office. She comes from a legacy of heavyweight lawyers and will be in major conflicts with the Sunyang group.
The 36-year-old actress has called Reborn Rich, “a drama that shows you the fantasy that everyone has had at least once, right in front of your eyes.”
She added, “As it simultaneously deals with cases and generations from the late 80s to the present day, I figure this is a project that viewers of all ages and interests can enjoy and relate to.”

Reborn Rich will be airing every week Friday and Saturday from 10.30 pm KST/8.30 am ET on JTBC. Later, the drama will be added to Disney Plus and Rakuten Viki with English subtitles. TVING and Viu will also air Reborn Rich in selected regions. Reborn Rich will be available on Netflix Korea as well.
