Taksi Tak Lagi Pakai Sedan, Ini Penjelasan Blue Bird

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com –Taksi adalah salah satu layanan transportasi darat yang sudah tidak asing bagi masyarakat Indonesia.
Di Indonesia sendiri, taksi identik menggunakan mobil jenis sedan, namun tren itu sudah bergeser. Sekarang banyak perusahaan taksi yang beralih menggunakan LMPV (Low Multi Purpose Vehicle).
Saat ini banyak perusahaan taksi yang memakai Toyota AvanzaTransmover atau Honda Mobilio.
Persaingan bisnis layanan transportasi di Indonesia saat ini masih bersaing ketat. Apalagi setelah kemunculan layanan taksi online yang menggeser eksistensi dari layanan taksi konvensional.
Hal ini terbukti dari banyaknya perusahaan taksi konvensional di Jakarta yang berguguran. Maka dari itu, mengganti jenis armada menjadi salah satu strategi turut dikerahkan oleh perusahaan taksi agar tetap eksis.
Blue Bird menjadi salah satu perusahaan taksi yang telah menggunakan low MPV untuk operasionalnya.
“Kami berkomitmen memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat yang beragam, termasuk dalam hal jenis armada, baik sedan yang menawarkan kenyamanan maupun LMPV yang menawarkan ukuran kabin yang lebih luas,” kata Wakil Direktur Utama PT Blue Bird Tbk, Adrianto Djokosoetono kepada Kompas.com, Selasa (31/1/2023).
SHUTTERSTOCK/JAVAISTAN Blue Bird bakal menyesuaikan tarif taksinya dalam waktu dekat, usai pengumuman harga BBM naik per 3 September 2022. Selain itu, taksi yang identik dengan warna biru ini banyak melayani penumpang di bandara atau stasiun.
Penumpang dari dua lokasi tersebut seringkali membutuhkan ukuran kabin bagasi kendaraan yang lebih luas untuk muatan penumpang maupun barang.
“Maka dari itu, menurut Adrianto dengan menggunakan low MPV, memungkinkan taksi mengangkut lebih banyak penumpang dan barang. Hal ini juga didukung oleh data pemesanan taksi Blue Bird yang banyak meminta jenis kendaraan LMPV,” kata Adrianto.
Sebagai informasi, saat ini Blue Bird telah mengoperasikan lebih dari 20.000 unit kendaraan untuk mendukung operasional taksi dan rental di seluruh Indonesia.
Adrianto menyebutkan, dari total tersebut sekitar 12.000 armada dioperasikan untuk wilayah Jabodetabek.
