Taylor Swift wasn’t one to let a wardrobe malfunction hinder her powerful performance, so she decided to deliver a show by tiptoeing on stage when the heel on her Christian Louboutin boot came off.
The minor mishap came after Taylor Swift postponed her show on Saturday in Brazil following the tragic death of one of her fans. The singer made sure fans who turned up for her concert on Monday weren’t disappointed, despite the unexpected wardrobe malfunction.
Taylor Swift ditches broken heels to tiptoe on stage
TayTay was performing in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, when she pulled a real-life Barbie move on stage. She was wearing a red-bottomed Christian Louboutin boot when one of the heels broke mid-performance.
Taylor did not think twice before ripping off the broken heel and tossing it into the air. It then appeared to land somewhere in the crowd.
Taylor did not go for a change of costume, instead chosing to balance herself on the ball of her foot for the rest of the show.
Fans couldn’t be more impressed with the star’s unwavering professionalism.
Fans are desperate to own TayTay’s heel
A post shared by Pop Crave on X/Twitter shows a fan presumably carrying the broken heel in their bag after Taylor got rid of it.
Fans think that the heel from the Christian Louboutin boot once worn by Taylor is worth treasuring, so they are willing to purchase it for any amount should it be sold on eBay.
One commented: “That’s going to sell for millions on eBay. But I want it”
“That’s going to be worth a whole lot of money someday,” said another.
A third one added: “This fan is about to make a fortune on eBay.”
“Keep it for a while and auction it as an antique,” said another.
You can buy Christmas merch at the singer’s holiday shop
Only the fan in the alleged possession of Taylor’s broken heel can tell if it’s of any value in the future and if they are even willing to sell it. But fans can currently purchase a range of items from the singer’s holiday merch shop including Christmas ornaments inspired by all of her albums.
The Christmas merch on Taylor’s shop will be available until the supplies last and fans are already disappointed that some of their favorite items such as the Wonderland blanket are sold out.
The online shopping site’s main page displays the Lover House, symbolizing the 10 eras and named after her seventh studio album. Each door consists of a range of items representing the chosen era.
If you’re looking for Christmas decorations, there are a total of 60 ornaments for all eras combined, which can be bought together for a price of $1,240. You can also buy them individually and they are priced anywhere between $15-$25.
